My Soundscape Plan

For my main soundscape I will be recreating the sounds of the Sunderland Air show.

The sounds I will need to recreate are:

• Waves crashing on sand
• Music playing through far away speakers
• Person talking about the planes through the far away speakers
• Children running around on the sand
• Small conversations
• The wind blowing through wind-breaks
• Cars driving along the road
• Rumble from the jet
• The jet flying over
• Seagulls squawking  

How I will re-create these sounds:

• Record waves at Seaburn Beach
• Record music playing through a speaker
• Record a voice describing the planes
• Record voices having conversation and children playing around
• Record wind blowing against fabric
• Record cars
• Find jet sounds on youtube
• Record birds squawking

The narrative part of my soundscape will be the typhoon show. The typhoon will fly over, do the show and then it will fly away and the crowd will clap.
